Eric Tai is the Lead of Ecosystem Technology Management and Partnership at MediaTek Inc., responsible for technical collaboration in 3GPP LTE, CIoT, 5GNR, CV2X, and 6G across various global operators and infrastructure vendors. With over a decade of experience in mobile communications, Eric previously served as a Manager at HTC, leading a modem team and successfully managing multiple LTE/HSPA+ projects, including the first AT&T LTE CSFB smartphone. Additionally, Eric held roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Compal Communication Inc., where they led team efforts on CDMA projects, and developed expertise in protocol stacks and certification processes. Eric earned a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
