Hank Wang

Hank (Tai-Chi) Wang is a Senior Silicon Architect at Google since August 2024, with extensive experience in technical management and software engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Manager at MediaTek since January 2019, Hank leads a team focused on enhancing APU hardware utilization and has successfully managed key projects to reduce latency and memory footprint. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at MediaTek, where design and integration of OpenVX frameworks were achieved, and Principal Engineer at MStar Semiconductor, contributing to AI-based control and video codec optimizations. Hank began a career at Polstar Technologies Inc. as an Assistant Manager, developing advanced driving assistance systems. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University and a BS in Mathematics from National Cheng Kung University.
