Hao Wang

HAO WANG is a Staff Engineer specializing in RFIC Design at MediaTek since February 2022, focusing on enabling new technologies for Wi-Fi RFIC. Previously, HAO served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Davis, engaging in the architectural and systematic design of ultra-high range-resolution sub-THz radar sensors, and as a Graduate Research Fellow where notable inventions included a patented low-power 39GHz Doppler radar topology and a divider-less frequency acquisition technique. HAO’s experience also includes a role as Director and Chief IC Designer at a stealth startup, and as an Analog IC Design Engineer at Silicon Labs, contributing to the design of high-performance integrated circuits. HAO holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, alongside a Business Administration minor, and earlier degrees from Columbia University and Harbin Institute of Technology.
