Junyi Xu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in digital signal processing and high-speed communication systems. Currently serving as a DSP lead at MediaTek since May 2025, Junyi specializes in high-speed SerDes technology. Prior to this role, Junyi held various positions at Marvell Technology from October 2011 to December 2024, including distinguished engineer in PHY signal processing and Sr. Principal in DSP architecture, focusing on Ethernet PHY algorithms and electrical and optical SerDes. Junyi began the career at BroadLogic as a systems engineer, developing cable communication algorithms and chip bring-up, and previously worked as a software engineer at ESS Technology, Inc., concentrating on video post-processing and MPEG decoding. Junyi holds a PhD and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, completed in 2003 and 1998, respectively.
