Rafi Mohd is a highly experienced Staff RFIC/mmWIC Design Engineer at MediaTek since August 2022, specializing in mmW-SSPLLs, mmW QVCO's, and mmW Multi Modulus dividers for next-generation 5G applications. Previously, Rafi served as Sr & Lead Analog/RF IC Design Engineer at Hanwha Phasor, focusing on satellite communication chips, including a high Dynamic Range RMS Detector for Ku-band transmission. Prior to that, Rafi worked at Texas Instruments as a Sr.RFIC Design Engineer, where significant contributions included the design and market release of highly linear Active BALUNs for 4G base stations. Rafi’s career began at MMRFIC Technology Private Limited and Signalchip Innovations, contributing to various RFIC designs for defense applications and 4G base stations. Rafi holds an M Tech in Microelectronics & VLSI Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from Sree Nidhi Institute of Science and Technology.
