Tamer Ali

Tamer Ali is currently the Deputy GM of Interconnect Solutions at MediaTek, where they specialize in AI/ML connectivity chips, including high-speed SerDes, optical transceivers, and digital signal processing for AI/ML ASICs and SoCs. With a career spanning over two decades, Tamer has held influential roles such as Sr. Principal Scientist at Broadcom and Research Staff at Sun Microsystems. They earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University, followed by a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles. Their expertise focuses on the development and implementation of innovative wireline chips for next-generation data centers and high-performance computing.
