Teemu Virtanen has over a decade of experience in telecommunications engineering, currently serving as a Senior Department Manager for 5G L1 at MediaTek since October 2014, following a tenure as Sr. Staff Engineer in the same area. Prior roles include significant positions at Broadcom, Renesas Mobile Corporation, and Nokia, where expertise in LTE L1 development and testing was cultivated. Teemu also gained foundational experience in testing and project work at Nokia Siemens Networks and through various internships. Teemu holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Oulu, obtained in 2009.
