Ville Salmi has extensive experience in research and development within the telecommunications industry, currently serving as R&D Director and Finland Site Manager at MediaTek Inc. since October 2014. Prior to this role, Ville held key positions at Broadcom as Oulu Site Manager and L1 Modem Firmware SW Director from October 2013 to September 2014, and at Renesas Mobile Corporation from December 2010 to September 2013 as Head of L1 Modem Software and Site Manager. Ville's career began at Nokia, where significant contributions were made in WCDMA Radio Software and management roles from January 1998 to November 2010. Ville Salmi holds a Master of Science degree from Oulu University, completed in 2006.
