Yi-Chen Chen

Yi-Chen Chen is a Senior Engineer at MediaTek Inc., where they develop algorithms for multimedia techniques and conduct research on deep learning-based image restoration problems. Previously, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Automation Research at the University of Maryland, focusing on video-based face recognition and image retrieval. Yi-Chen also held the position of Software Engineer at Senao Networks, where they developed core technologies for digital wireless local loop applications. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, teaching various courses. Yi-Chen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree at the University of Washington.
