Deb Sullivan has extensive experience in labor relations, currently serving as the Associate Director of Labor at the Massachusetts Nurses Association since 2008, where responsibilities include representing registered nurses in hospitals, negotiating contracts, and advocating for workers' rights. Additionally, Deb is a member of the Executive Boards for the Labor Guild and the Harvard Trade Union Program and an adjunct professor at UMass Boston, teaching courses on collective bargaining. In the role of mediator at MWI since 2011, Deb mediates small claims cases in district courts. Previous roles include Director of Labor and Field Representative for SEIU from 2002 to 2009, and various positions within IBEW Local 1505 from 1976 to 2001. Deb holds a BA in Labor Relations from UMass Boston and an MS in Labor Relations/Human Resources from the University of Rhode Island, along with continued education at Harvard University and the National Association of Parliamentarians.
