Medica AD, formerly Medica AD Sofia ( Medica JSC) is a Bulgaria-based company that produces medical dressing materials. It supplies pharmacies, hospitals and other health institutions with a range of elastic articles, including bandages, sleeves and stockings; gauze products; cotton products, including cotton yarn, buds, tampons and cosmetic pads; bandages; plasters; pharmaceuticals; green micro algae, as well as anti-microbial surgical sutures and dental products. The Company has a 100% stake in Medika Zdrave EOOD, a 99.99% interest in KRE OOD, as well as a 100% stake in Medika Bolkans EOOD. The Company operates in both domestic and foreign markets and exports its products to Ukraine, Serbia, Latvia, the Russian Federation, Italy and Macedonia, among others.
