Scott Keefer is a seasoned Public Affairs leader with extensive experience in health care policy and regulatory change. Previously serving as Legislative Director for U.S. Representative Harold Ford, Jr. and Vice President of Public Policy at America's Health Insurance Plans, Scott has influenced key health reform discussions in Congress. Currently, as VP of Public Affairs at Medica, Scott advises senior leadership and leads a team focused on stakeholder engagement and organizational reputation. Additionally, Scott chaired the board for the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association from 2018 to 2023, playing a vital role in making health insurance more accessible for thousands in Minnesota. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Washington & Jefferson College and is pursuing a Doctor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law.
