Tom Dijkstra

Tom Dijkstra is an experienced Supply Chain professional with a strong background in strategic project management and operational improvement. Since 2016, Tom has served as the Group Manager Supply Chain at Mediq, focusing on enhancing Supply Chain value through various initiatives across the organization. Prior to this role, Tom held positions at Jumbo Supermarkten, including Operational Planning Manager and Transformation Manager, where responsibilities involved leading and restructuring Supply Chain planning processes. Earlier experience includes the role of Continuous Improvement Manager at C1000, where Tom applied lean management principles to optimize warehouse operations, and consultant roles at IG&H Consulting & Interim, specializing in Supply Chain improvements across multiple industries. Tom began a career in Supply Chain with an internship at SC Johnson, conducting research on inventory management. Education includes a Black Belt in Lean Management from Ghent University and Master's degrees in Technology Management from the University of Groningen and an exchange program at Aarhus University.
