Mike Ackerman

Mike Ackerman has extensive experience in the field of animation and visual effects. Mike started their career as a 3D Generalist and VFX Compositor at Meditech Communications, Inc. in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Visual Development Animation Compositor at Lex & Otis Animation, where they were responsible for compositing shots on an animated show and creating VFX from scratch.

From 2019 to 2021, Mike served as a 3D Team Lead at Sound Ideas Marketing Partners, where they developed the 3D pipeline and handled Look Development for projects with medical companies on the Fortune 500 list. During their tenure, they expanded the 3D team and acquired new major clients.

Before Sound Ideas Marketing Partners, Mike worked as an Animation Specialist at Meditech Communications, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they handled various responsibilities including animation, VFX, 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, and multi-image compositing. Mike ensured that projects met advanced quality standards while meeting client delivery expectations.

In 2013, Mike worked as a Contract Animator/General Artist at WebpageFX, where they managed motion graphics projects and communicated with clients. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Lead Compositor and Compositor/3D Generalist at Ghost Productions, Inc. In these roles, they led a team, ensured high video quality, and handled various tasks such as multi-image compositing, VFX creation, and motion graphics.

Mike started their career as a Digital Media Intern at Huntington University in 2012. Mike also interned as a 3D Generalist at Sound Ideas Marketing Partners, where they produced high-quality 3D illustrations.
