Dan Benson

Dan Benson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in technical operations and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Medium since June 2014, Dan has held various positions including Senior Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer. Prior to Medium, Dan managed the Provisioning Engineering team at Twitter and worked as a Director of Technical Operations at SnapLogic, where responsibilities included overseeing infrastructure and customer implementations. Dan's earlier career included leadership roles at Mevio, AdBrite, Check Point Software Technologies, and TechTV, demonstrating a strong background in systems administration, network infrastructure, and engineering management. Dan holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
