Douglas Rushkoff

Douglas Rushkoff is an esteemed author and media theorist, currently serving as the host of the podcast Team Human, which focuses on fostering human connection in a digital world. In addition to podcasting, Rushkoff is a Professor of Media Studies and Activism at Queens College and a columnist for Medium. Rushkoff has served on the Board of Advisors for Civic Hall, a non-profit organization dedicated to leveraging technology for societal benefit. As a Codevangelist at Codecademy, Rushkoff promotes coding education, while prior writing contributions have been made to CNN. Academically, Rushkoff holds a PhD in New Media Studies and Digital Games from Utrecht University, alongside various degrees in Film and Theater from institutions such as the American Film Institute and Princeton University.
