Gregg Bernstein

Gregg Bernstein is a staff UX researcher at Medium, where they lead research initiatives to understand audience needs and support the platform's growth. Previously, they served as the Director of User Research at Hearst Magazines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale research practices. Over their career, Gregg has held various roles in user research and academia, including Senior Director of User Research at Vox Media, and Teaching Assistant in Typography at Savannah College of Art and Design. They are also the author of "Research Practice: Perspectives from UX researchers in a changing field," capturing the nuances of user research practice, and have spoken at notable conferences globally. Gregg is pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design at Savannah College of Art and Design.
