Joel Johnson

Joel Johnson, C.C. has extensive experience in technology and creative fields. Since September 1992, Joel has served as a Systems Analyst and J2EE Java Developer at State Farm Insurance, focusing on Salesforce development and Java projects. In addition, Joel has been a Writer for Medium since August 2020, contributing insights on social justice and personal growth through poetry. As an entrepreneur, Joel manages Silkysoul Stock Photos and owns Silky Soul Entertainment, providing mobile music services. From October 2004 to August 2019, Joel coordinated the High School Computer Competition for the Black Data Processing Associates, developing curricula for high school students in web application development. Joel was also the webmaster for the Kappa Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Xavier University of Louisiana.
