Peggy O'Mara

Peggy O'Mara is an accomplished writer, editor, and researcher with extensive experience in advocating for family policy and social justice. Currently serving as a Writer/Editor/Researcher at Medium and Women in Dialogue, Peggy focuses on Guaranteed Income research and advocacy for Care Income and Child Tax Credit. Previous roles include writing articles and press releases for Family and Home Network, where Peggy supported inclusive family policies, and developing a comprehensive doula training curriculum for Tewa Women United. Peggy's editorial leadership at Mothering and Mothering.com spanned nearly four decades. Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Georgia.
