Felipe Gabela

Felipe Gabela began their work experience as a TEDx Speaker at TED Conferences in November 2018. In December 2017, they co-founded Remu Apparel, where they served as the COO and Co-Founder until January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for building and managing Remu's Shopify powered online store, developing budgets and strategic plans, and creating financial statements for seed investment rounds. From December 2019 to February 2021, Felipe worked as a Frontend Developer at Remu Sites, where they designed and implemented eCommerce solutions and customized Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Javascript libraries. Felipe then joined Capmation Inc. as a Software Engineer I from February 2021 to December 2021, and later as a Software Engineer II from January 2022 to the present at Mednet.

Felipe Gabela has a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, which they obtained from 2014 to 2019. During their time at university, they specialized in Systems Engineering. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Felipe also holds a High School Diploma from the American School of Quito, where they studied from 1999 to 2014. Apart from their formal education, Felipe obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Inc. in February 2021.
