Deena Brecher

Deena Brecher is the Patient Care & Project Management Lead at Mednition. Deena has over 18 years of experience in emergency and trauma nursing.

Deena started their career as an ED nurse with Cross Country Travcorps in April 2000. In March 2002, they became a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Texas Children's Hospital. Deena then became a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Nemours in June 2004 and served in that role for 10 years. In January 2014, Deena became the President of the Emergency Nurses Association and served in that role for one year. Deena then joined the Board of Directors of the ENA, a position they held for 5 years. In December 2014, Deena became the Clinical Director of Emergency Services at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, a position they held for 2 years. In November 2016, they left CCHMC to become a consultant at blue jay consulting, llc. Deena was promoted to Senior Consultant at blue jay in May 2018 and served in that role until July 2018, when they left to join Mednition.

Deena Brecher has a bachelors from the University of Pittsburgh and a master of science from UTHealth.

Deena Brecher reports to Steven Reilly, CEO, Co-Founder. They are on a team with Kevin Masek - Emergency Medicine Physician, Deb Delaney - Clinical Implementation Lead, and Erica Lewis - Emergency Medicine Physician.
