Leslie Newberg

Leslie Newberg has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, beginning as an R&D Technician at DuPont from 1987 to 1988, where involvement included a transposable element and gene-tagging project. This was followed by a role as an R&D Scientist at Molecular Tool from 1993 to 1998, focusing on the biochemical development of high-throughput techniques. Leslie then served as Director at Orchid BioSciences from 1998 to 2002, leading a start-up that developed personalized medicine products. Subsequent positions included Project Manager at Tandem Labs from 2007 to 2010, emphasizing client-based clinical drug trials, and Senior Business Manager at Patheon from 2011 to April 2017, managing client relationships and strategic planning. Currently, Leslie is an Account Manager and Associate Director at Medpace, overseeing clinical trial management and financial aspects of studies involving biotech and pharmaceutical partners. Leslie holds a Master of Science degree in Biology/Biochemistry from the University of Delaware.
