Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith has extensive experience in statistical analysis within the clinical research field, currently serving as a Principal Statistical Analyst at Medpace since June 2015. In this role, Rachel contributes to the preparation of clinical development plans, reviews study protocols to identify appropriate statistical methodologies, and develops program specifications for various projects. Previous positions include Senior Statistical Analyst and Statistical Analyst at Medpace, where Rachel utilized advanced knowledge of clinical database mapping and effectively communicated statistical results to ensure accurate interpretation by the Medical Writing department. Rachel's early career includes a biostatistics internship at the Center for Clinical Research and Translational Science, as well as roles in research and customer service. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Dayton.
