Richard Lee has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Richard currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Medpace and also holds the position of Senior Medical Director for the CV Precision Medicine Program. Richard has been with Medpace since 2018. Prior to that, Richard was a Board of Advisors member at Cappa Health, Inc. from 2015 onwards.
Richard also has teaching experience as an Associate Professor at Albany Medical College from October 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they held the role of Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UnityPoint Health --Meriter Heart Hospital, Heart and Vascular Institute from October 2012 to September 2017.
Additionally, Richard has served as a Board of Advisors member for My Dietitian, Inc. from 2012 to 2016 and worked as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Regional Diversity Director at Northwest Permanente, KSMC from 2009 to October 2012. Richard also held the position of Assistant Professor and Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, where they were the Aortic Surgery Program Director until 2009.
Richard Lee attended St. Ignatius High School, where they were the Valedictorian. Richard then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics at Yale University, graduating Summa cum laude. Richard furthered their education at Harvard Medical School, focusing on Health Sciences and Technology, cum laude.
