Stephen Ewald

Stephen Ewald is the current General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary at Medpace. Prior to joining Medpace, Stephen served as Managing Director, Chief Operating and Compliance Officer at Brevet Capital Management from January 2011 to December 2012. In this role, Stephen was responsible for managing compliance and supervision functions, as well as internal legal functions.

From 2009 to 2011, Stephen served as Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald, where they provided primary legal support to all physical and illiquid trading, life settlements and insurance products. Stephen also managed the loan closing group during their time at Cantor Fitzgerald.

Prior to their role at Cantor Fitzgerald, Stephen served as Managing Director, PCG - COO at Bank of America - Principal Capital Group from 1999 to 2009. In this role, Stephen was responsible for managing the expansion of the loan sales and trading business globally.

Stephen began their career as an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from 1997 to 1999.

Stephen Ewald went to Findlay High School and then the University of Cincinnati for their B.A. in political science and their J.D. in law.

They work with Brandon Ebken - Chief Information Officer, Susan Burwig - Executive Vice President, Operations, and Jennifer Ruth - Executive Director, Quality Assurance & Process Improvement. Stephen Ewald reports to August Troendle, President & CEO.
