David Guerette

David Guerette has over ten years of work experience in software engineering and related fields. David began their career in 2007 as a Student Manager at the Getz Media Lab at Brandeis University, where they trained staff and patrons in audio and video editing techniques. In 2008, they worked as an Installation Technician at Korg USA, building music education classrooms in schools throughout the country. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Technical Support Representative at Cakewalk, providing front line technical support for Cakewalk's multitrack recording software. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an IT & Media Support Specialist at From the Top, producing audio promos, podcasts, and online video content, managing network backups, and creating custom WordPress sites. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Jr. Software Engineer at PCH/Media, doing full stack Python/Django development utilizing the AWS ad tech stack. Finally, since 2017 they have been a Software Engineer at MedRhythms, Inc., where they work on digital therapeutics that use sensors, music, and software to measure and improve walking.

David Guerette received their Bachelor's Degree in Music and Linguistics from Brandeis University in 2008, having started their studies there in 2004.
