Stephen Hess

Stephen Hess has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen began their career in 1998 as a Senior Project Manager and Human Factors Engineer at Aptima, Inc. In 2000, they moved on to divine, inc. (formerly Open Market, Inc.) as a Senior Product Manager. From 2002 to 2009, Hess held several roles at BEA Systems, Inc., including General Manager of WebLogic Adaptive Products and Senior Director of Product Management for WebLogic. In 2009, they joined Red Hat as Senior Director of Product Management for JBoss Middleware. In 2011, they moved to Avid Technology as Senior Director of Product Management for Enterprise Media Management. In 2012, Hess was appointed Senior Vice President of Products and Strategy at Ipswitch, Inc. In 2014, they joined NANTHEALTH as Vice President of Products and Solutions and also joined NaviNet as Vice President of Product Management. In 2016, they were appointed Senior Vice President of Product & Technologies at Seniorlink. Finally, in 2022, Hess became Vice President of Products at MedRhythms, Inc., a company that develops digital therapeutics to help patients suffering from neurological injury and disease.

Stephen Hess obtained their B.A. in Cognitive Psychology/Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1991. Stephen then went on to pursue a M.S. in Cognitive Psychology from Penn State University, which they completed in 1993. Stephen continued their education at Penn State University, where they received their Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology in 1996. In 2006, they earned a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
