John Jakovcic

John Jakovcic has a diverse work experience in the technology and insurance industry. John is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at MedRisk since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Information Technology at Aflac Group Insurance from November 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Aflac, John worked as the EVP and Chief Information Officer at Benefit Harbor Insurance Services, LLC. From 2010 to 2019, they had several roles at Broadspire, including Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Performance Management, Senior Vice President of Information Technology, and Vice President of ICT and Technology.

John began their career at Aetna in 2006 as the Manager of the Group Insurance National Account Implementation Department, where they were responsible for implementing disability, FMLA, and group life products for large clients. Prior to that, they served as an IT Senior Manager at Broadspire from 2000 to 2006.

John Jakovcic obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. John pursued their education at the university from 1992 to 1996.
