Eric Ngamau

Eric Ngamau is an accomplished microbiologist and laboratory professional with extensive experience in laboratory operations, animal disease diagnostics, and pharmaceutical microbiology. Eric began with a laboratory attachment at Central Veterinary Laboratories Kenya, followed by a role as a Laboratory Technologist at the National Quality Control Laboratory, where initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and introduce fee revisions were implemented. As the Chief Technical Officer and founder of Wern Laboratory Services, Eric established a unique consultancy compliant with WHO standards, later leading to the laboratory's acquisition by MEDS. Currently, at Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies, Eric has expanded laboratory capabilities by introducing critical microbiological tests and spearheading the development of testing facilities in line with global standards. Eric holds a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Moi University.
