Stephen Kigera is a seasoned professional in quality services and pharmaceutical management, currently serving as the Head of Quality Services at Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) since August 2013, where MEDS is a leading pharmaceutical company supplying medicines and medical products across Kenya and is recognized as one of only ten WHO prequalified pharmaceutical companies globally. Previously, Stephen held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at MEDS, overseeing quality assurance processes and managing teams dedicated to quality control and improvement. Prior roles include Quality Control Manager at Cooper K-Brands Limited, where Stephen established an in-house laboratory, and Production Manager at Nerix Pharma Limited, overseeing production and training staff in current Good Manufacturing Practices. Stephen holds an MBA from the University of South Wales, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Supply Management from Empower School of Health, a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi, and completed C.P.A. Part II at Strathmore Business School.
