Langley Barnes is a dedicated medical student currently engaged at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine since July 2024. In addition to medical education, Langley serves as a medical scribe at MedScribes, documenting patient histories, exam findings, and creating after-visit summaries to ensure accurate electronic health records. As a research intern at the Duke Center for Autism & Brain Development since May 2021, Langley has contributed to studies evaluating motor skills in children with Autism and ADHD, developing coding schemes and performing quality control on study videos. Langley also has experience in customer service from a role at Andrew's Produce Stand and served as a camp counselor and lifeguard at Camp Merrie-Woode, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and teamwork. Langley earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Neuroscience from Duke University after completing a high school diploma at Wayne Country Day School.
