Nikin Tharan

Co-Founder & CEO at Medsix

Nikin Tharan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Medsix, a bioengineering accelerator. Nikin has also worked as a Product Developer at Guardion, where they developed novel radiation detectors, and as a Visiting Innovation Fellow at Manulife / John Hancock, where they created a portfolio management app for $10B in assets. Nikin has also worked as a Research Assistant / Program Manager at Northeastern University, where they worked with Dr. Kevin Boudreau at the IoT Open Innovation Lab. In addition to their work in the private sector, Nikin has also served as President of WISE - Workshop for Innovation and Science Experiments.

Nikin Tharan has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. Nikin also participated in Summer Dialogues on Climate Hazards and Resilient Cities at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and Climate Adaptation and Policy at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
