John Santmann

John Santmann has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. John currently holds the position of Chief Medical Information Officer at Medsphere Systems Corporation since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Wellsoft Corporation as the President & Lead Developer since July 1990. John also has experience working as an Emergency Room Physician, both part-time at various hospital emergency departments in St. Louis and New Jersey from July 1988 to June 1999, and full-time in various hospital emergency departments in the San Francisco Bay Area from July 1983 to June 1985. John began their career as a rotating medical intern at Alameda County Hospital from July 1982 to June 1983. John also completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Norfolk General Hospital from July 1985 to June 1987.

John Santmann attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1973 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biophysics. John then pursued their medical education at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 1977 to 1982, earning the degree of MD. Concurrently, from 1977 to 1979, they also worked towards a Masters Degree in Physics at Washington University in St. Louis.
