MedTech Catapult is a Singapore Government initiative that partners with innovative MedTech start-ups and companies worldwide to accelerate their productisation and commercialisation journey. From product development through clinical validation, we work closely with local contract manufacturers, research institutes, and healthcare clusters to help companies de-risk development, generate clinical evidence, achieve manufacturing readiness, and position themselves for successful regulatory approval and follow-on investment from venture capital and strategic partners.

To support these efforts, MedTech Catapult provides integrated product development infrastructure, engineering expertise, industry mentorship, and targeted funding programmes to accelerate innovation and market adoption. Companies do not need to have a local presence or Singapore shareholding to participate, although all projects are subject to a formal application and evaluation process.

In return for the support provided, MedTech Catapult may take an equity or licensing position that reflects the value of the investment and the scope of work undertaken.
