Julia M. began their work experience in 2014 as a Lifeguard at Greenwich Water Club. Julia then worked as a Clinical Assistant at Greenwich Ear Nose & Throat in 2015. During this time, they gained knowledge of the medical field by shadowing physicians and assisting with minor procedures. Julia also organized equipment setup, sterilization, and cleanup. In 2017, Julia worked as an Assistant Laboratory Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they learned the process of 3-D drug screening for Alzheimer's disease research. Julia acquired the necessary skills for cell culture and analysis.
In 2019, Julia joined Code First Girls as a Code Instructor, sharing their knowledge and teaching coding to others. Julia also joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer through the Tech Connect program, where they participated in an intensive training program and subsequently worked on coding projects. Julia M. is currently employed at Medtel.com as a Product Manager. Since joining in 2021, they have led a team of developers, implemented critical features, and defined a robust product strategy and roadmap. Julia communicates with users and the business team to identify and solve problems.
Julia M. completed their education at the University of St Andrews from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Neuroscience. Prior to that, they attended Greenwich High School from 2011 to 2014, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
