Athanasios Touris

Athanasios Touris is a Senior Principal R&D Engineer at Medtronic, where they focus on the design and development of medical polymeric materials and intracranial aspiration microcatheters. With a background as a polymer chemist, Athanasios has extensive experience in materials science, including working with adhesives and polymer structure/property relationships. They completed their PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Athens and have held research positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Minnesota and University of Tennessee. Prior to their current role, Athanasios contributed to 3M as a Senior Research Engineer and Product Development Specialist.
