Jay Hamlin

Jay Hamlin has over three decades of experience in the fields of engineering, quality assurance, and electrostatic discharge management. Starting as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from November 1975 to November 1979, Hamlin progressed through various roles in industry, including significant positions at Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, and Medtronic Microelectronics Center, where current responsibilities include serving as Principal Engineer and ESD Program Manager. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Hamlin has contributed to organizations such as the ESD Association and has a robust background in product reliability, quality control, and engineering leadership, emphasizing improvements in ESD-sensitive components for medical devices and semiconductor technologies.
