Joel Scheumann

Joel Scheumann is currently a Senior Process Development Engineer at Medtronic, where they apply their extensive engineering background. Previously, they served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic and Nordson MEDICAL, with a focus on improving manufacturing processes and product quality. Joel earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in Mechanical Engineering and another in Applied Mathematics—at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and a Research & Development Intern at Covidien, gaining significant expertise in design validation, testing, and regulatory compliance.
