Michael Hedges

Michael Hedges is a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years in the industry and more than a decade as a Chief Information Officer (CIO). They held the CIO position at Medtronic from 1999 to 2009 and continued in the role until their retirement in 2019, overseeing a $1 billion IT organization with more than 2,500 employees across 16 countries. Michael began their career as an IT Manager at Eastman Chemical and possesses two MBA degrees, one from the University of Oxford - Said Business School and one from Oxford Brookes University, where they are currently enrolled. Now semi-retired, Michael is engaging in consultancy work.
