Ryan Powers

Ryan Powers is a change management, communication, and localization professional with extensive experience across various roles in education, project management, and organizational development. They taught English as a Second Language at Iwaki City Board of Education before advancing to Medtronic, where they managed over 500 multilingual localization projects and led change management initiatives. Currently, Ryan serves as the Community of Practice Lead for Change Management, Training, and Quality in the global IT organization, focusing on driving awareness and adoption of change. Ryan holds a B.A. in Linguistics with East Asian Languages and Music from Indiana University Bloomington and has further studies in Japanese, sociolinguistics, and urban development from Kanda University of International Studies.
