Simon Schiele

Simon Schiele is a Dr.-Ing. specializing in robotics and medical device technology, currently working as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Medtronic. Simon completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science at Technische Universität München, followed by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. During their Ph.D. candidacy at Technische Universität München, Simon focused on the automated design of 3D printable snake-like robotic systems for individualized tasks in areas such as handling technologies and minimally invasive surgery. Simon also gained experience through internships and assistant roles, including work with B. Braun Group and a semester abroad at Institut Teknologi Bandung.
