David Powers

David Powers is an accomplished facilities management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Facilities at Ascension Texas since February 2017, David manages operations for multiple healthcare facilities, including Dell Children’s and Ascension Medical Group. Previously, David held positions such as Senior Director of Stadium Operations for Round Rock Express, overseeing stadium safety and maintenance, as well as Facilities Manager roles in healthcare settings like Austin Surgical Hospital. David co-owned and led residential construction companies, Powers Custom Homes and Everwood Building Company, contributing to numerous projects while assisting clients with design and budget implementation. David's career began in management and computer operations at Cinemark and further included project management in engineering. Education includes studies at Texas State University and Austin Community College.
