Mathieu Roy, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mathieu is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Medzy since May 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded Nexus Innovations and worked as the VP of Software Development from May 2017 to May 2021. Mathieu also worked at GSOFT inc. as a Software Engineer, Team Lead, and Dev Manager from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, Mathieu has experience as a Sitecore Architect and Developer at Fonds de solidarité FTQ and as a Graduate Student and Ph.D. Candidate at University Health Network and University of Toronto, respectively. Before that, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Université Laval - Department of Electrical Engineering and Université Laval - Department of Physics, and as an Undergraduate R&D Assistant at FISO Technologies. Mathieu'sexpertise lies in technology, software development, project management, and research.

Mathieu Roy, Ph.D. pursued their education in a chronological manner. Mathieu began their academic journey in 2000 at Université Laval, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Photonics and Telecommunications in 2004.

Following this, Mathieu enrolled at the University of Toronto in 2004, where they immersed himself in the field of Medical Biophysics. Mathieu diligently pursued their studies and successfully earned their Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mathieu Roy obtained certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In 2012, they obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org. Subsequently, in 2015, they became a Sitecore Certified Professional Developer (Sitecore 8) after completing the necessary requirements from Sitecore.
