Jared Levy

Jared Levy is an experienced educator and writer currently serving as an Upper School History and Religion Teacher at Friends Select School since August 2024. Jared also works as a Writer and Editor for CommonLit and as a Writer for Meet Cute, both starting in February 2023 and February 2022, respectively. Previously, Jared taught History at Moorestown Friends School and served as a Lecturer at The Wharton School. Additional roles include Substitute Teacher and Speech and Debate Coach at Solebury School, as well as a College Essay Specialist for Academic Access. Jared's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Bates College and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College.
