Cedric Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cedric started his career as an Event Planner & DJ for corporate & private events. He then transitioned to Focus Communications Inc., a multicultural marketing agency, as a Marketing and Event Coordinator. In this role, they supported teams and clients, designing content for various communications & marketing materials, & executing digital communication strategies. Cedric also played a key role in producing and executing the "Parenting Expo 2017" consumer show.
Cedric later joined Bolt, a European ride-share company, as a founding member for the Canadian Team. Here he worked on market feasibility models, communication strategies, and as a regulatory liaison to facilitate the company's entry into the Canadian market.
In 2019 Cedric moved overseas working at the prestigious members-only KEE Club as a Marketing Manager, where he organized social events and created event-focused marketing materials to increase organizational awareness and membership sales. During this period he also held the position of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager for CarCarez Company Ltd. Here he managed e-commerce platforms, developed digital marketing strategies, & implemented Google Ads campaigns for the company leading to a 400% growth in revenue year-over-year.
Cedric's expertise in digital marketing led him to become a Digital Marketing Consultant & Strategist, providing consulting services in this field. Cedric worked at The Tachyon Group as a Digital Marketing Consultant and later as the Director of Digital Marketing. In these roles, he oversaw digital marketing operations while actively consulting with clients in order to formulate strategies to help achieve their business goals including generating leads, developing new businesses, enhancing clients' brand visibility and driving customer engagement.
Upon his return to Canada Cedric joined Zwilling J.A. Henckels Canada Ltd. where he managed a $MM budget for all Paid Digital marketing strategies & channels including Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Shopping, Discovery), Microsoft Ads, Meta-Ads (Facebook & Instagram), Native Advertising, Wayfair Ads, Amazon Advertising (Seller & Vendor Central) & more. During his time in this role he increased digital revenue by over 200% in a span of 6 months while increasing digital impressions by 300% (nearing 300M).
Currently, he holds the position of Senior Search Supervisor at Clue, where he leverages his expertise to supervise search operations and drive effective search strategies for clients across various industries.
