Darren Packard

Darren Packard is a nationally-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 23 years of experience, specializing in American English pronunciation training for non-native speakers. They own Packard Communications, through which they provide in-person and online training to enhance professional communication skills. Currently, Darren serves as an adjunct professor at Portland State University and leads workshops at Intel Corporation. They are also the co-founder of the YouTube channel "Sounds American" and have developed various community-focused classes to improve communication for non-native English speakers in the Portland area. Darren holds advanced degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oregon and Portland State University.
