Rob van Hest

Rob van Hest serves as a Docent at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since August 2008, focusing on Marketing and Sales for the Commerciële Economie program while also taking on roles such as stage and graduation supervisor, project coordinator, and coach. Rob has been involved in various initiatives, including organizing the First International Week "Know Your Neighbours" in 2014 for first-year commercial students. In addition to academic responsibilities, Rob is an investor in sustainable energy projects at Meewind and serves as the founder of Reisjeboek.nl, which brings books to life through immersive experiences. Rob has held positions with multiple energy suppliers, emphasizing a commitment to sustainability, and has contributed as a researcher at Hotelschool The Hague, examining success factors in the restaurant industry. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure Sciences from Tilburg University, various marketing and teaching credentials, and an extensive background in sustainable energy initiatives.
