Bhavna Thacker

Bhavna Thacker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2006, they began their career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Sr. Analyst Programmer at Syntel Limited. In 2014, they joined Infibeam.com as an Android Developer and worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, Bhavna worked as a Mobile Development Lead at MOBIUSO TECHNOLOGIES INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, where they played a key role in the development and design guidance of native Android applications. After that, they decided to work as a self-employed Remote Android Developer from 2018 to 2022, during which they operated their own YouTube channel and website focused on teaching Android development. In 2019, they joined raywenderlich.com as a Final Pass Editor for the Android Tutorial team. Currently, Bhavna is a Senior Software Engineer at MEGA The Privacy Company, starting in September 2022.

Bhavna Thacker has a diverse educational background. Bhavna began their education journey in 2000 at V.G.Vaze College, where they pursued a two-year H.S.C. program in Science. Following this, from 2002 to 2006, they attended K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication.

After a few years, Bhavna Thacker furthered their education in the field of Information Technology. From 2012 to 2014, they enrolled in Prin. L.N. Wellingkar Institute of Mgt. Develop, where they completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in E-Business through distance learning.

In addition to their formal education, Bhavna Thacker has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In June 2019, they obtained the "Android Q First Look for Developers" certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in December 2021, they completed the "Google Play Store Listing Certificate" program offered by Google Play Academy.
