Matt Oehrlein has an extensive work experience beginning in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and IT Technician at the University of Minnesota. Matt then moved to Logic Product Development as an Associate Electrical Engineer from 2007 to 2008. After that, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2009. Matt then moved to Eaton Corporation as a Senior Controls Engineer - Innovation Center and Graduate Engineering Intern from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they became President & Director at i3 Detroit, where they were responsible for public outreach and advertising roles. From 2014 to 2020, they were the CEO & Co-Founder and COO & Co-Founder of MegaBots, Inc., where they raised over $7MM in venture capital and grew social media presence from zero to over 450K subscribers/followers. Most recently, they have been the CEO of GoGun since 2020, where they are responsible for the most tactical crossbows and airguns available online.

Matt Oehrlein completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2008. Matt then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2010.
