We are the largest independent stockholder and distributor of steel for the prestressing and post-tensioning of concrete in the UK.

"Our strength lies in working closely with our customers and our suppliers. Our aim is always to add value to the supply chain and bring benefits to both producers and users of the steel products that we are involved with. The only way any business can be successful in the long term is by creating value and trust, together with supplying superior products, service and ideas."
Nigel Roberts, Managing Partner of Megasteel LLP

Megasteel was established in 1991 specialising in steel for the reinforcement of concrete. Since then, we have grown to become the largest independent distributor of wire and strand for the prestressing and post-tensioning of concrete in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Megasteel holds extensive stocks of wire and strand in our warehouses in Felixstowe and Belfast and from these stocks we service our customers' needs. Through our international sales division we can offer wire and strand to any destination in the world.

As well as prestressing and post-tensioning wire and strand, we are also a major distributor of concrete reinforcing bars ("rebar"), rebar in coil, wire rod and mesh.

We are not owned by a steel mill, and act as an entirely independent steel supplier. We are proud of our reputation in the industry as a highly dependable, straightforward and long-term business partner.
